In my personal discourse community, which is my family I would have a more relax, and informal language, compared to the more serious and formal language I would use if I were in a class room setting or a job interview. With my family I would write, or speak in English, I would have a loud tone because I would be having fun, or just because my family is a loud one. It will be cussing in the conversation, and a lot of slang. When we talk we use words like (fam, ken folk, bro, man, dude, sis). For example if I would to send a text message to my sister or brother I would say something like “whats sup bro come to the park wit me kinfolk”, but if I was talking to my parent I would still use an informal type of writing but it would be more like “hey mom can u please come to the park with me”.
